Anonymous asked: Orchadork all the way. Born and bred to absolutely adore the violin and I love it. I could wax on about string resonance and timbre and harmonics but I jsy love my instrument. It's, oh lawd, like a girlfriend. You play any instruments? I'd assume your knowledge of Profokiev and Mahler tends toward more of a string-based background? Personally I find a person who can rattle off composers to be, um, attractive. Mentally attractive. Gonna dash before I embarrass myself. OhwaitIalreadyhave. :)

Haha. I’m a percussionist. Classical percussion. So unfortunately no drumset, but all the mallet stuff, yes. I do wish I played the violin/violin/smaller stringed instrument. I’ve always wanted to just be chill on a street corner and play. For cash or not. Just to do it. Throw out some Bach, do some Paginini, rip off some Wieniawski. See if anyone notices great music being played, or if they’re plugged into their pop shit. It’d be brilliant.
