Hello Stranger.

I don’t know who you are, and you don’t know who I am. We are simply acquaintances through tumblr, a manifestation of the social interconnectedness of the world today. However, I feel that I should explain a bit about myself for your benefit.

We are perfect strangers. What a nice word, “perfect”. It suits this situation wonderfully. You see, you do not even have the privilege (or perhaps the misfortune) of seeing me, physically. You know me only through my thoughts, my preferences, my opinions, perhaps my dislikes, and what I post. In this way, we have removed any sort of bias that typically results from gender, age, level of physical attractiveness, racial background, social standing, and the like. Some of these, I may end up revealing, but for now, I could be your best friend, your sister or brother (although, language and postings may give a clue as to gender), the person sitting next you, or anyone in the entire world with access to the world wide web.

These are my thoughts, judge me as you may. Follow me if you wish. Request that I follow you, and I might. I’m not looking for a following, I’m not looking for acceptance. I’m only looking for a place to put my thoughts, to capture myself as is right now. In ten years, I can look back and laugh at the foolishness I possess at this age, or in wonder. Don’t be afraid to disagree, put it in the ask. Criticize me on my anonymity if you choose to, but know that it is because of this anonymity that you can see my thoughts unfiltered and raw in your own mind. Thank you for letting me share myself.
